Goals from Zali Kirkman, Sarah Campbell, Jakayla Harvey and captain Kiara Walsh meant it was an enjoyable trip home from the North-West.
"Very pleased with that," said delighted City coach Barry Baker.
"It was a great team effort. We picked up a couple of injuries so did not get through entirely unscathed but hopefully we're not too bad."
LAUNCESTON UNITED captain Dani Gunton was also among the goals, grabbing a brace in her side's 3-2 win at perennial title challengers NORTHERN RANGERS.
New signing Adilat Otto also claimed one against her old side as Cameron Heazlewood began his coaching reign with a derby win.
"We played very well," he said.
"We conceded late but didn't give up. We knocked the ball around very well and that was the difference."
Rangers' goals came from the reliable source of club golden boot Moana Chamberlin with Abbie Chugg also hitting a post.
"We weren't awake for the first 10 minutes so then we were chasing all day," said coach Ian Loft.
"It's not often we don't sing the song after a game so we're a bit disappointed but that's the way it goes."
Just a fortnight after losing 19-0 to Devonport, RIVERSIDE were much more competitive.
Jo Haezebrouck's side kept the visitors to just one goal in the first hour before eventually going down 4-0.
In the men's competition, LAUNCESTON UNITED coach Glenn Reading was delighted with a 5-2 win at reigning champions NORTHERN RANGERS.
"At the end of the day, any time you beat the league winners from last year is good," he said.
"Last week's game (against South Hobart) may have played a role in our performance. We are already in a better position than we were this time last year, with a few players to still come in."
Aidan Rigby scored a hat-trick with Will Compagne adding another couple to his Lakoseljac Cup opener last week.
LAUNCESTON CITY also hit a handful, knocking off Somerset 5-1 at Cardigan Street.
Goals from Stefan Tantari (two), Dan Smith, Josh Bula and Will Fleming did the damage.
Wayne Penfold made a winning return to the coach's box as RIVERSIDE claimed a 1-0 victory over Devonport.
An own goal proved the difference at Windsor Park.
"We played them pre-season and they towelled us up 3-0 so to reverse that is pretty good," Penfold said.
"We ground out the result. Jack Harvey worked his socks off and Rhys Kinslow held the ball up really well up front."
Ulverstone defeated Burnie 3-1 in the other fixture.
