Tenders for the second stage of the $4 million development were advertised by the state government on Saturday.
Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff said the first stage of the campus upgrades, which included state-of-the-art nursing facilities and upgrades to IT laboratories was nearly complete.

Construction on the second stage of the redevelopment is expected to begin in September.
It will include an expanded library; upgraded student amenities including a new student lounge and café; classroom upgrades, upgrades of toilet facilities, and additional on-campus parking.
Last year in October TasTAFE confirmed plans to close the Launceston City CBD campus.
It was revealed the sale of the Launceston city campus would be used to fund the redevelopment of Alanvale.
The state government announced soon after it would fund a $4 million upgrade of Alanvale to assist with the transition.

"The redevelopment of Alanvale Campus will provide TasTAFE students with modern, industry-standard training facilities as well as redeveloped spaces that will enhance their overall on-campus experience," Mr Rockliff said.
The first stage of the upgrades included fit-for-purpose nursing, aged care, and disability training facilities, including workplace simulation rooms designed to resemble real hospitals and aged care facilities.
Students have undertaken a staged relocation from the Launceston CBD campus to Alanvale, which began during 2020.
Nursing students remain on their campus on Wellington Street until their new facilities are completed.
However, students have been largely learning remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with small group training on-campus in the past few months.
All campuses will be open for on-campus learning from Monday.
Stage one also included the upgrade of information technology computer labs which are now complete.
Two Tasmanian companies were awarded contracts for stage one, with VOS Construction undertaking the Nursing Aged Care and Disability works and Fairbrother has completed the upgrade of Information Technology computer labs.
Tenders open on Saturday, July 18, and close on August 12.
