The anticipation for the clash between 2019 premiers Cavaliers and their crosstown rivals Northern Hawks have been extended by a further four months in lockdown.
But the hundreds extra that turned up for last year's decider in August will be turned away at the door since social distancing has been introduced for indoor sport.
"Not as many as we'd like can attend," Netball Tasmania boss Aaron Pidgeon said.
"There's some restrictions in place at the Silverdome.
"The playing area at the Silverdome is classified as one undefined area in terms of an indoor sports facility. We can only have 250 people."
The additional make up of persons in attendance will also include the players, club staff and matchday officials.

Clubs will take control of their allocation of spectators that extends to those watching 19-and-unders earlier on.
Names and details will be provided in the week leading into the game on a door list that is aligned to players.
"It's tricky," Pidgeon said.
"We expect we will at times have people that just don't understand and will turn up.
"In some cases, we might have the capacity because the club allocation aren't full.
"But in most cases, if they haven't got their names on the list, then we are going to have to turn people away."
Restrictions have forced Netball Tasmania to stream one game live a week starting with the Launceston derby.
