Police allege the man, who is a Tasmanian resident, failed to comply with directions given by the State Controller after returning to the state on July 3.
He was arrested in Devonport on Friday, after being located without incident.
The man is due to appear in the Devonport Court of Petty Sessions on Saturday.

He has been charged with failing to comply with a direction of an Emergency Management Worker/Director of Public Health and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended licence.
Tasmania Police Sergeant James Scicluna thanked the community for their vigilance and prompt assistance in locating the man.
"Although difficult, the directions requiring quarantine are a necessary precaution to help prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19," he said.
"Whilst compliance rates remain high, even one person can place an entire community at risk and will not be tolerated."
