After retiring from NTCA competition in 2013, the 42-year-old is set to return to Westbury after four seasons coaching ACL in the Tasmanian Cricket League.
"I was always going to come back home to Westbury in some way, shape or form, whether that was going to be playing or coaching or on the administrative side of things," he said.

"I knew my time had come as a coach at ACL. I believe you can be at a place for too long sometimes when it comes in terms of coaching but I was really enjoying my cricket.
"While I'm going to continue to coach and do administrative side of things later on down the track, at 42 years of age and still feeling like I could contribute, I wanted to have one last crack at playing cricket for Westbury."
Having three seasons off cricket after finishing up at Westbury, Kedey was coaxed out of retirement and consistently performed strongly as coach of ACL, scoring 1476 runs and taking 87 wickets across his four-year tenure.
Having both captained and coached Westbury in the past, as well as being a life member of the club, Kedey is eager to play at the highest level when he returns but didn't rule out taking on a mentoring role in the lower grades.
"Westbury is home, there's no doubt about that and the great thing about having a home is that you can go back at any time and this time feels like the right time to head back and contribute both on and off the field as much as I can.
Westbury is home, there's no doubt about that.

"I want to make sure I'm doing what's best for the club at all times but also knowing that I want to play the highest grade I possibly can."
Kedey said the on-field Cricket North return will last at least one season but his cricketing journey won't finish there, looking to contribute to the Shamrocks wherever he can.
