The program assists disadvantaged children participate in club sport activities they would otherwise not be able to afford.
Football Tasmania chief executive Matt Bulkeley said for children, playing sport provides a wide-range of benefits beyond physical health.

He also said the announcement was well-timed, with junior football seasons for term three set to start in July.
"We know cost can be a barrier to sports participation access for many families," Mr Bulkeley said.
"We have seen a huge up-take of Ticket to Play participants in our clubs since the program was introduced and [we] are looking forward to welcoming even more players to Tasmania's favourite sport this year."
