Developers behind Launceston's latest hotel are eager for a border opening date to be revealed.
Hotel Verge general manager Kate Bucknell said while the developers expected many Tasmanians will want to experience Launceston's newest hotel, they were looking forward to welcoming guests from interstate too.
"When the Premier sets a date for interstate travel it will be a huge relief because it will allow us to start planning for a bright future," Ms Bucknell said.

"That certainty will also give between 20 and 30 Tasmanians job certainty and we look forward to hopefully increasing employee numbers heading into the usually busy summer period."
Many tourism stakeholders, including Tourism Industry Council Tasmania chief executive Luke Martin, have urged the government to open borders for COVID-safe states sooner.
Hotel Verge has entered the final stages of its development and is set to be open in spring 2020.
