IN OTHER NEWS:
"Earlier this month I confirmed that in light of the impacts of COVID-19 some adjustments have been made to external assessments for 2020 to ensure student well being is supported," he said.
"The final adjustments to the remaining courses including English 3, Maths and Science have been signed-off by a cross-sector working group comprising all school sectors and the office of Tasmanian Admissions, Standards and Certification."
Four types of changes were made; adjustments to reflect 2020 changes to courses, changes to written exams, changes to folio submission dates and changes to externally assessed performances.
"Depending on their chosen Level 3 or 4 courses, external assessment for Years 11 and 12 students can include written exams, research projects, folios, performance and oral exams," Mr Rockliff said.
Mr Rockliff thanked school communities for their commitment to supporting students.
"I would like to thank all teachers, school staff, the working group and TASC for their continued understanding and commitment to supporting students and their families during this uncertain and difficult time," he said.
A full list of changes can be found of the TASC website.
