This included the awarding of a tender for upgrades on the Exeter Waste Transfer Station.
The tender was given to Zanetto Civil Pty Ltd for $274,406.
The waste station redevelopments will compose of two stages, valued at a total of $500,000.
It will receive an extension to its container bay allowing for an additional unloading area, a 3600 square metre hardstand for green waste and a relocation of the reception shed.
The council also received its residents opinion survey for 2020.
In other news:
Survey participation was down from 2019's survey, from 1,414 to 1,160 residents.
Overall satisfaction had increased to 88.75 per cent, according to general manager's report.
Access to council services experienced one of the higher jumps in approval, with a 4.7 per cent increase to 89.4 per cent.
The council also approved it's budget and rates for the 2020 and 2021 financial year.
Like many council's, West Tamar employed a zero per cent increase on general rates for the next financial year due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as a hardship policy for ratepayers in need of financial relief.
The budget is set for a deficit of $1.2 million, as well as an underlying deficit of $2 million as a result of the pandemic.
"Council has a long history of surplus results which has allowed maintenance of a margin of comfort to absorb the impact of unexpected developments," the budget read.
The Meander Valley Council also approved the renewal of its capital works budget for this year. The council approved the reallocation of capital works funding across a number of projects.
This included the transferring about $87,000 from the asphalt resealing budget to works on the Country Club Avenue and Las Vegas intersection and the speed humps at Blackstone Heights Drive.
