Tassal announced James Fazzino - who was managing director of ASX-listed fertiliser, chemicals and explosives company Incitec Pivot Limited between 2009 and 2017 - would join its board as a non-executive director.

"This is an exciting time at Tassal Group, with our continual growth in salmon operations as well as our move into North Queensland with our prawn farming operations," chairman Allan McCallum said.
"With James' extensive national and international business experience, the board is looking forward to James' contribution and input in continuing Tassal Group's strategic growth and diversification."
Tassal said Mr Fazzino was a director of energy infrastructure business APA Group and Rabobank Australia Limited and chair of (dental) Implant Solutions and Manufacturing Australia.
He held senior executive roles with Incitec Pivot between 2003 and 2017.
In other Tasmanian-related business news, AUSTRALIAN BAUXITE LIMITED chairman Paul Lennon has been re-elected unopposed.
Mr Lennon is a former state Labor premier.
Australian Bauxite majority-owned subsidiary ALCORE Limited is working towards potential lucrative aluminium fluoride production at Bell Bay.
Australian Bauxite - which mines near Campbell Town - expects to make its next bauxite shipment from Bell Bay by August 19.
Meanwhile, shareholders in horticulture giant COSTA GROUP HOLDINGS LIMITED have re-elected chairman Neil Chatfield as a director.
