Tasracing chief executive Paul Eriksson said it was his understanding that there would be "pretty much the same structure" for all three codes.

"I expect all meetings will get the same Sky Channel coverage that they had previously," he said.

There has been speculation that greyhound racing may have to look for a new timeslot for its Devonport meetings but this hasn't eventuated.

Sky Channel's draft schedule has the first Devonport meeting after the restart listed for Sky 1 coverage on Tuesday June 16.

North West Greyhound Racing Club president Robyn Johnson said it was "excellent news" that Devonport would remain on Tuesday afternoons.

Trials resumed on the Devonport track on Saturday when more than 70 greyhounds went around.

Johnson said the session ran smoothly without any problems.

Greyhound officials met on Friday to discuss race programs which are due to be released this week.

Established pacers No Spring Secrets and Lip Reader were the two quickest winners from the 12 trials at Mowbray on Saturday.

No Spring Secrets, runner-up to Cool Water Paddy in the Launceston Mile at his last run before the enforced break, went 1:57.1 over 1680m.

Lip Reader, who's had four wins and two seconds in six starts since coming from New South Wales, was the quickest winner of the 2200m trials, rating 1:57.6.

Horse numbers are looking good for both codes leading up to the resumption.

There were 52 pacers trial at Mowbray and another 83 were due to trial in Hobart and Devonport on Monday night.

It's a similar story with the thoroughbreds where 53 horses contested 14 trials at Mowbray last Wednesday and another 40 went around in 11 trials at Elwick on Friday.

The 12 trials at Spreyton on Tuesday have attracted another 46 runners.
