About 150 computers can be loaned to disadvantaged families learning from home, as well as e-readers for the Community Hub for elderly residents.

George Town general manager Shane Power said the initiative started with COVID-19 in mind, however the loaning system will now be a long-term solution.
Port Dalrymple principal Jeanna Bolton said the system had been well-received by families.
"It was certainly highlighted through our COVID-19 situation that many of our students' families didn't have access to a device," she said.
"Through this partnership, we're able to loan out devices to students in years 3-9."
