A burst water main is impacting the water supply to Launceston and surrounding suburbs including Norwood, Punchbowl, St Leonards and Youngtown.

In a statement a TasWater spokeswoman said crews were on site carrying out repairs, but it would take some time to restore service.
It is estimated the water supply won't be back to normal until around midday, Saturday.
The burst water main on Johnston Road, Norwood between Penquite Road and the bridge, was first reported by emergency services about 3.30am.
"TasWater appreciates this is extremely inconvenient and thank residents for their patience."
