The pair have partnered for a food drive which will raise money for The Examiner's winter relief appeal.
Residents of the Launceston area will be able to buy some of Sunrise's most popular products through the Tornadoes with all proceeds going to the relief appeal.
Tornadoes operations manager Corey Ackerly said it made sense for the club to try and help the community during this difficult period.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Normally we would support groups like City Mission or the Salvation Army at our home games, so we would provide some exposure and fundraising opportunities at our home games," he said.
"Without any home games, because our season has been cancelled, we thought we needed to find some other way to help support those groups."
He said Sunrise Bakery was the perfect partner because they already have a system where schools groups and other organisations can raise money by selling their products.
"We have set up the process where we will, through our social media, do the ordering and get the community to order Sunrise Bakeries products and all the proceeds from that program will go back to the winter relief appeal," Mr Ackerly said.
Sunrise Bakery managing director Paul Sellars said they were happy to support the Torndoes fundraising efforts.
"We are really excited to be involved ... we make a living out of the community and we support community organisations as much as we can," he said.
"All of the profit that we make from the products we are going to produce for the tornadoes we will be donating in addition to anything the Tornadoes donate as well.
"It is not about either organisation making any money, it is just about us working together and hopefully being able to shoot some money into the winter relief appeal and that will filter down to some people who are really doing it tough at the moment."
You can purchase products through the Tornadoes Facebook page between June 1 and 10, for delivery on June 17.
