A 25-year-old man facing allegations of aggravated armed robbery and doing an unlawful act causing bodily harm will face a jury trial in the Supreme Court in Launceston in October.

Sammual Clinton Wilmot, of Riverside, has pleaded not guilty to the charges arising from an incident in Waverley in January 2018.
Defence counsel Evan Hughes told Justice Robert Pearce that since Mr Wilmot's last appearance Crown material had been examined and the matter was not capable of being resolved without a trial.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr Hughes estimated that a trial would take 4-5 days.
Crown prosecutor Luke Brett said that the Crown intended to proceed with Mr Wilmot's trial before that of the co-accused.
Justice Pearce bailed Mr Wilmot to reappear on October 12 at 10.45am.
