State minister for sport and recreation Jane Howlett thanked both Golf Tasmania and Golf Australia for their work with the government in enforcing the modifications.
"The health and safety of all Tasmanians remains our priority and that is why a number of measures will be put in place by clubs, including social distancing, enhanced hygiene protocols and rule modifications designed to minimise the risk of infection to participants," Howlett said.
