Project member Adam Mostogl said the idea for the online forum came about in February at the Launceston Global Shapers Hub, where participants felt their ideas or opinions weren't being heard.
"Listen Up! Make Noise! is an online platform to allow young people to raise their voice, have their input on major issues, help shape major shifts in our region and generally be more engaged in Northern Tasmania," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We'll collaborate with stakeholders around the region - and have already started reaching out - to create data sets that are useful to ensure young people are heard in discussions around our region, especially those that most impact or affect the lives of young people."
