One of Australian basketball's most recognisable and consistent names, the 31-year-old spoke to fellow Tasmanian Adam Gibson on his 'Gibbo goes one on one' podcast about his experiences both with and against the sport's best.
"Melbourne United and especially with Dean [Vickerman] at the helm, he's been adamant that if we get the chance to do it, we want to take it because we don't know how long this [the colaboration between NBA nad NBL] will last," he said.
"it's not every day you get to play in NBA arena against, in the most part, full-strength NBA teams in front of their fans. It's so much fun going over there competing against guys like Patrick Beverly and a couple of years ago, Russell Westbrook, Paul George."

Facing off against fellow Australian Ben Simmons' Philadelphia 76ers in 2018, Goulding would sustain an ankle injury following a rejection from star centre Joel Embiid saw their combined collapse on top of the Tasmanian.
United continued to stay in touch of the 76ers before the NBA unit kicked into another gear, winning 104-84.
"We had a really good team that year. We had guys all over the floor - Booney [Josh Boone] had NBA experience, Casper [Ware] had NBA experience, big GQ [David Barlow] he's been there and done that so to have those guys in that locker room would have been a settling experience.
"They probably thought they'd come out and blitz us but when Cas starting dropping threes, Q chimed in, we had Tohi [Smith-Milner] working in the low post, things got real pretty quick.
"It would have been cool [to win] but I think from there, the NBA teams that came up against NBL guys realised that if they don't take it seriously, they could be in a tight game and that's the last thing they want in a pre-season game."
Goulding played two seasons of NBA summer league in 2013 and 2014 for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks respectively.
