Who's impressed: "Alex Sciulli is super fit and did a heap of his own work as well as our training and was looking really sharp and really fit compared to last year," Cleaver said.
"Alex Downie, another one of our midfielders, is moving really well and Charlie Fry has also impressed.
"I'm looking for a big year from Field Reeves. He's been injured the last couple of years as he had that incident a coupe of years ago where he got punched and had his jaw broken against St Pats.
"Then last year he dislocated his elbow playing against Perth so he had in interrupted season but he's really fit at the moment so I'm looking for a good year from him."
OTHER PREVIEWS
Coach says: "At the moment we are just keeping in touch through some running apps and doing different challenges with each other through that to keep our fitness up and keep in touch which is good.
"The boys and girls are getting involved with that so it's a good club challenge but we are just waiting to hear from the government and the NTFA as to what's happening and when we can start if we can start.
"Last year we had heaps of injuries throughout the year and heaps of guys had things on, like Kyle Lanham had his kickboxing and we had heaps of guys go on different holidays, so we had a really inconsistent season in regards to our list.
"Our best 22 is, in my opinion, pretty strong and this year, we've obviously been able to retain all of our players so if we all stay fit, I think we are going to go and be a better team than we were last year.
"Keeping everyone on the park is a key thing but I'm really impressed with our best 22 this season.
"It was only our last roster game against Bridport down there where we had our full list and obviously we hadn't played together throughout the year so it was a bit disjointed.
"I coached seven years of school football at St Pats so being a teacher as well, I'm used to talking to groups which helps a lot with coaching.
"Playing with them last year, getting to know all the boys and committee members was good and made the transition into the club a lot easier rather than fresh and not knowing anyone but the boys have been excellent."
