The death bring's the state's total to 10.
Premier Peter Gutwein extended his deepest condolences to the family of the man, who passed away yesterday.

"On behalf of the Tasmanian government I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends and loved ones of the 90-year-old man who passed away yesterday from coronavirus," he said.
Of the 10 deaths in Tasmania, nine have been related to an outbreak in the North-West.

Premier Gutwein said the government would continue to do whatever it takes to keep Tasmanians safe.
"To the North-West community, which I know to be a tight knit community, my thoughts are with you all," he said.
"Please, look out for one another. Stay home and save lives."
