Those are the words inscribed on a bugle passed through a family for more than a century since the First World War.
Anzac Day 2020:
Its current owner is H.G. Richard's great-grandnephew Gilbert Davidson, 69, who had it passed down to him from his father.
"It was left in my grandmother's estate and it's been in the family ever since the war," he said.
"My father had and when he passed on I took it."
Service runs deep in Mr Davidson's family, with his father serving in the Second World War and Mr Davidson himself was also called up for national service.
In other news:
Mr Davidson said his great-granduncle H.G. Richard served in the Dardanelles campaign, more commonly known as the Gallipoli Campaign.
