A 79-year-old North-West woman has died from coronavirus at the Launceston General Hospital.
She is the ninth person to die from coronavirus in Tasmania.

Premier Peter Gutwein expressed his sympathy to the woman's family, friends and loved ones.
"I'm sorry, on the behalf of the government, I extend our condolences and sympathy to you all," Mr Gutwein said.
"To lose someone else is just an absolute tragedy.
"It has sharpened my resolve to stamp out this insidious virus."
Mr Gutwein said this was another bittersweet moment, to announce the loss of another life the day after the state recorded no new cases of coronavirus.
