Two teenagers have been charged following an alleged aggravated robbery at Woolworths in Launceston last night, with two staff members assaulted.

An 18-year-old woman from Invermay and a 17-year-old woman from West Launceston were both charged with aggravated robbery.
About 5.45pm it is alleged the two women attempted to exit the Woolworths on Wellington Street with two baskets of groceries they had not paid for.
IN OTHER NEWS:
When attempting to leave the store with the stolen goods, it was alleged the offenders assaulted two staff members.
Tasmania Police said the staff members received minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.
A police investigation following the incident identified the alleged two offenders involved.
Both women were arrested by police a short time later at a house in Invermay.
They were both bailed and will appear before the court at a later date.
