The coronavirus outbreak forced the State League to postpone its 2020 season just two weeks out from round one, with all football put on hold statewide until at least May 31.
Launceston had been scheduled to host North Hobart at Windsor Park on April 4 before meeting North Launceston in a Good Friday clash at UTAS Stadium.
"Protecting the physical and mental health and well-being of our players along with our staff, members and supporters is at the forefront of all our decisions," Boland said.
"Our coach Mitch Thorp and his leadership team are providing professional leadership and mentoring to keep all players engaged during this time.
"Using resources available, [we'll be] keeping everyone informed and connected to be as prepared as possible when we are able to return to the field."
The Blues fell seven points short of making last year's TSL grand final and made a good start to pre-season, impressing in practice matches against Longford and the Tassie Devils under-18s.
Their final scheduled practice match against North Hobart was cancelled.
