North-West cancer patients will also be provided with accommodation in Launceston in order to access treatment at the Launceston General Hospital.

Health Minister Sarah Courtney announced the measures during Tuesday morning's coronavirus briefing in Hobart.
She said it would ensure that those in need of the most care would receive the greatest level of support during this time.
"What we are doing is for expectant mums that are close to giving birth, accommodation has been and will be offered for them and their families at the Mantra Hotel Charles in Launceston which is very close to the LGH," Ms Courtney said.

"We're ensuring that they have got the care that they need, both personally and the clinical care.
"If there are any expectant mums that have concerns, I would ask them to call their doctor and we'll make sure that we get the appropriate measures in place.
"Similarly, patients that are undergoing cancer care that needs to be undertaken while the services are closed at the North West Regional Hospital will also be offered accommodation in Launceston so that they're able to access the services that they need during a very challenging times for them."
