While the NTFA season will see no football played before at least May 31, teams are still mentally preparing for their shots at glory in the two men's divisions and NTFAW.

2019 finish: 10th - zero wins, 10 losses. The Saints' best results last season came against Meander Valley, where they kicked two majors in each contest before falling by 21 and 27 points.
Charlotte Long and Tyeisha Hinds were regularly included in the side's best players - appearing seven times - while club president Lynette Burt led the way in the goalkicking.
Ins: Letitia Hancock, Renee Wilson, Brianna Hinkley, Cloe Trudgeon (all North Launceston).
"We've kept roughly the same squad from last season and we've picked up a couple of young ones from under-17s so it's a good mixture," Marshall said.
We will be pretty competitive and we are hoping to improve on last year in which we didn't have a win but hopefully going forward this season we might have a couple of wins.

Outs: Jill Fish (retired), Cara Digney and Erin Baker.
Who's impressed: "So far it's been pretty even, young Jayde Barrenger, Tyeisha Hinds, Cloe Trudgeon and Brianna Hinkley have been the regulars outstanding at the moment."
Coach says:
"It will be really good (to have Letitia and Renee back in the side) because with their experience and some of the younger girls we have coming through, hopefully they can teach them a strong game.
"I reckon we will be pretty competitive and we are hoping to improve on last year in which we didn't have a win but hopefully going forward this season we might have a couple of wins.
"We are looking to working on our skills going forward and making sure the girls have a better understanding of the game.
"It's going to be a bit awkward now as we've had a long pre-season going since October and now you can just hope that the girls are doing their own training schedules to keep themselves fit and ready for when we do kick off."
