Acting director of Public Health Dr Scott McKeown, said five of the cases were women and one was a man.

"Two are from Southern Tasmania, two are from Northern Tasmania, and two are from the North West," he said.
"Two are aged in their 20s, one is in their 30s, one is in their 50s, one is in their 60s and one is in their 70s.

"The situation with coronavirus is changing regularly," Dr MckKeown said.
