Selected as a member of Australia's 10-strong Jackaroos side to originally compete during May and June on the Gold Coast, the 32-year-old will have another year to prepare with the championships to be held at the same time in 2021.
Bowls Australia chief executive Neil Dalrymple said that while the postponement was unfortunate, next year's event, which will run before the sport's Australian Open, will be "special".

"I am happy to announce to all players, officials, spectators and volunteers that BA, along with all the major stakeholders involved, fully intend to deliver an exciting and special month of bowls on the Gold Coast in 2021." he said.
"While this has undoubtedly been a difficult time for many in the bowls community and wider communities, we hope this news can provide some optimism to those doing it tough."
Invermay's finest bowling product, who has represented Australia on 264 occasions since 2011, was originally listed in both triples and fours action alongside Ellen Ryan, Natasha Scott and Lynsey Clarke (fours only).
The now 2021 championships will see Van Asch, who has won six national titles, return to the scene of her 2018 Commonwealth Games wins.
