In his second televised address to the state in little more than a week, Mr Gutwein implored people not to get discouraged as they abided by physical distancing directives.
He began by offering his condolences to the families of the two Tasmanians who had lost their lives to the coronavirus.

"Unfortunately these won't be the last [deaths] and we need to ready ourselves for that," the Premier said.
"Be in no doubt, we have some tough days ahead.
"It will not be easy. It will be a hard fight.
"But please, don't be discouraged."
The tight border controls in place in the state, strengthened by Tasmania's isolation from the rest of the country, meant "we have a real chance to control and minimise the spread of this virus", according to Mr Gutwein.
"I'm sure you agree, we live in the most beautiful place in the world," he said. "Clean air, stunning beaches, unparalleled wilderness and a vibrant and united community."
"It's something we all want to protect.
"But for us to be successful in that cause, it means that everyone - all of us - have to play our part."
