As many Tasmanians grapple with business and employment uncertainty, the not-for-profit provider has announced that it's postponing its April 1 premium increase.
IN OTHER NEWS:
St.LukesHealth chief operating officer Darren Harris said the provider had been working with the Department of Health to put in place the postponement.
"While this year was our lowest average premium increase in 19 years, we understand that every little bit helps," Mr Harris said.
"St.LukesHealth will continue to monitor and reassess when to introduce the 2020 premium increase and keep our members updated on any changes that will affect them."
Mr Harris said additional mechanisms would also be available to members to help them deal with the stress of the pandemic, including increased mental health support and access to telehealth services.
