McKay's campaign in the German first division came to a premature end following the onset of coronavirus.
"I think so, most definitely, would love to play there, but again it would be tough to see what Europe does whether they push back or make a shorter season. It could be absolutely crazy," she said.
That has McKay thinking the safer option may be to remain in Australia and just prepare for 2021 in Tasmania.
The West Australian had been set to join the NBL1 on the cusp of the Tornadoes' opener dependent should Wasserburg play in the finals.
The Damen Basketball Bundesliga normally would resume a new season around September, but McKay has doubts it will this year.
"I'm in a bit of a whirlwind still to be honest. I technically am supposed to be playing basketball in Germany at the moment before joining the Tornadoes," she said.

"I'm still just a bit confused because I'm one of many people in the world who has to give up their job to do their part and get over this virus."
McKay signed up to the Torns to prepare the power forward for a stronger return.
The experience to relocate again for a Launceston winter would have been the first full season of playing professionally in Australia after she established her credentials at St Mary's College.
McKay would have been Launceston's third recruit in recent years behind Lauren Nicholson and Stella Beck to play US college basketball for the Gaels out of California.
"I am very disappointed I have not been able to spend some good time in Tasmania and meet all of the girls in the side," McKay said.
"We all have our group chats with a few different apps, and we talk a fair bit, and I feel like I know them so well after listening to what they have been doing over there and their work ethic.
"I think I feel a bit bombed that I don't get to put a face to all their names, so I think it would be exciting to head down to Tassie to play."
