The George Town Council announced its Anne Street office would be closed to the public until further notice.
Inquiries can be submitted electronically on the council's website or by calling 6382 8800 during regular business hours.
The council has also extended March rate instalment due dates until April 30.
The West Tamar Council announced that various public toilets in the municipality will be shut indefinitely.
Public toilets at the Tailrace Park, Lions Park, Brady's Lookout, Frankford Hall, Beauty Point as well as Beaconsfield and Exeter will remain open.
