The Northern Midlands Council has put in place further restrictions in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus during the pandemic.

The council's office and depot were closed to the public from 5pm on March 26 until further notice.
All designated campgrounds, campsites and caravan parks within the Northern Midlands were also closed until further notice.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Playgrounds, barbecue areas, skateparks, outdoor gym equipment and water fountains were also closed.
Mayor Mary Knowles said the community needed to be responsible, kind and considerate, whilst being mindful of the needs and vulnerabilities of others in trying times.
"The situation continues to evolve on an hourly basis and accordingly council continues to reassess the situation in relation to the maintenance of service delivery," she said.
