Mayor Greg Howard said the council was "still operating at full capacity essentially" despite the disruption.

"The office staff are working from home where possible," he said.
"All the outdoor staff are still at work, we've just modified the way they operate. That includes the number of people that can travel in vehicles, we've closed the lunch room and we've introduced multiple sanitation processes."
Councillor Howard said the council had also created an online register to show support for local businesses.
"It's just a way of us letting people know that those businesses are still open," he said.

"The April council meeting will be held electronically once we can get a suitable meeting platform," he said.
