Season in a nutshell: Keeper Dan Murfet assumed captaincy from Richard Howe (year off) and led the Shamrocks to a second-straight Greater Northern Cup title. Westbury went undefeated in two-day cricket, dropped only two one-dayers and should be awarded a fifth flag in nine years.
Team highlight: Take your pick. The Greater Northern Cup final was a romp as Westbury easily chased down Ulverstone's 83 all out. Two weeks earlier, Dane Anderson had crowned the club's 70th NTCA anniversary with a brilliant ton against Mowbray.
Team lowlight: A severely undermanned Shamrocks side was bowled out for 143 in a 103-run round six loss to South Launceston.
Individual performance: There were plenty to choose from throughout the season but it's hard to go past Anderson's back-to-back centuries in rounds two and three. The veteran punished Riverside with 103 not out before making 120 the following week against Devonport.

What worked: Star paceman Jono Chapman was trialled up the order with plenty of success. An unbeaten 50 at number five was followed by 60 not out and 14 not out in the 50-over semi-final and final respectively.
What didn't work: For all their dominance, the Shamrocks never looked like making a dint on the T20 cup. Westbury finished bottom of the table with a 1-3 record and was bowled out for 86 or less on three occasions.
Best recruit: Head coach Matthew Battle returned from a year off and dominated, striking 571 runs and taking 20 wickets across all competitions.
Surprise packet: Former opening bat Kieren Hume reinvented himself as a spinner and took the competition by storm. The school teacher took 26 wickets at 16.42 to finish top of the bowling charts with teammate Nick Spencer.
MVP: Anderson hit three tons and averaged over 50 but it's difficult to go past Battle, who finished top-10 in the league's bowling and batting charts. Chapman averaged under 10 with the ball for the second year running while Spencer and Hume had outstanding years.

Captain says: "Any time you finish on top of the ladder you've got to be pleased with that and I think compared to the last few seasons, this year has probably been as even as ever.
"Any team was capable of beating one another if they had a good day, so to be able to say we finished on top when it's been a pretty close season is a great achievement.
"The Greater Northern Cup is something that we've never really won before, even throughout this last nine years when we've had some success.
"To go back-to-back is pretty special and it's never easy, so you've got to make sure you appreciate how hard it is when you do these things.
"Matthew Battle had a really awesome year, he's one of the most talented cricketers going around and he had a real hunger to make runs this year and you could see the intent in him every time he went out to bat.
"I think him and Kieren Hume ... Humey's showed that he can now bowl with a lot of confidence.
"With the bulk of wickets he's taken this year he's probably the premier spinner in the comp now and it's come out of nowhere as well so we're really happy with how he's developed."
