Before the coronavirus forced the closure of their courts, Riverside Tennis Club hosted their men's doubles final for last year's club championships.
Delayed due to scheduling conflicts between the four players, Manning Mitchell and Josh Partridge took home the silverware in a tight 7-5 7-6 tussle against Mathew Webb and Campbell Young.
Webb and Young got away to a blinding start, leading 5-0 before the eventual champions found their stride, reeling off the next seven games straight to take the first set.

From there, the contest evened up and despite Mitchell serving for the match at 6-5, a tiebreak was needed to separate the two.
Partridge and Mitchell claimed the first three points to take an early lead before Webb and Young looked set to wrap it up, leading 5-3 but it wasn't to be, as the victors won the next four points to secure the title.
With the other club champions decided in November, young pair Oli Hadley and Arwen Koesmapahlawan the took out their respective singles events with Belinda and Campbell Young winning the mixed before Belinda partnered Roxie Holden for the women's doubles.
