After initially pleading not guilty to a count of being the driver involved in a crash and failing to stop Jordan changed his plea to guilty at a later hearing.
Jordan failed to stop immediately and render assistance to Ms McKay who suffered leg and hand injuries after a confrontation over a lamb.
Magistrate Sharon Cure fined Jordan $2000 and cancelled his driving licence for six months, but postponed the operation for 42 days while he made application for a restricted licence.

The court heard the woman was attempting to carry a lamb to her car from the farm on the Tasman Highway believing that it was in poor health and was being attacked by ravens.
Jordan approached the woman and a verbal confrontation occurred before he grabbed the lamb away from her and carried it to his ute.
Jordan admitted that the corner of his bull bar struck the woman when he drove away.
