The Premier announced on Thursday that small businesses on electricity tariffs 22, 94, 82 and 75 will receive a 100 per cent rebate on water and sewerage bills issued between April 1 and June 30 this year.

TasWater chief executive Michael Brewster said the decision to provide a price freeze was made in response to the Premiers call to support the community.

"These measures will help ease the economic impact and, importantly, they will help provide Tasmanians with a more stable financial footing when normal conditions return," he said.
