The number of coronavirus cases in Tasmania has climbed to 10 following the confirmation of three new cases on Wednesday, March 18.
Director of Public Health Mark Veitch said a woman and two men all in their 40s have tested positive for coronavirus in Southern Tasmania.
All three people are believed to have recently traveled to Tasmania from overseas and are not connected to any previously confirmed cases in the state.
Public Health Services have started to investigate each case and will be identifying and contacting the close contacts of the three people so they can be placed in quarantine.
