The Anglican Church of Tasmania will "actively avoid" groups of more than 10 people meeting together and has called off church services for the foreseeable future.

Services could instead be streamed online for parishioners, with details expected to be finalised later today.
Reverend Richard Condie, the Bishop of Tasmania, said it was a sensible social distancing approach.
"As there is increased risk of transmission where larger numbers of people gather together, we have decided effective immediately, that no public gatherings, including church services, will take place in our churches until further notice," he said.
