It has been a long time coming for the North-East of Tasmania, but Kubota is in Launceston again and they couldn't be more optimistic about the future.
On the 2nd March 2020, Total Ag Solutions Tasmania changed its name to Tasmac and launched a new branch in Launceston, rounding out its total branches to four across the state.
The branch is already stocked with Kubota machinery and tradies and farmers from the North East area have been checking out the new location on Invermay Road.
Kim Findlay has represented Tasmania for Kubota Australia for over ten years and is excited to see this turn of events for the dealership and for the customer base.
Launceston and the North-East of Tasmania is an important area of the state with such a diverse mix of agriculture.
"Launceston and the north-east of Tasmania is an important area of the state with such a diverse mix of agriculture including livestock and dairy, horticulture markets including viticulture, as well as cropping," he said.
This combined with the ever-increasing popularity for lifestyle/hobby farming blocks and development of infrastructure including roads, plus commercial and domestic developments, means the requirement for machinery in the region remains at an all-time high."
For us at Kubota, we are thrilled to be back in the region through our partnership with a locally owned company in Tasmac, and are looking forward to reconnecting and supporting many of our existing Kubota owners in the area, as well as meeting and establishing new relationships with the people in the northeast that haven't had the local access to our product range for some time now."
Kubota products are extremely well regarded across the globe, and while the machinery is of high quality and speaks for itself.
Mr Findlay said it would not be possible to maintain such a reputation without aligning themselves with the best dealerships, that are experts in their diverse range of tractors, mowers, excavators, utility vehicles, and farm implements that Kubota manufactures.
"Tasmac is no exception, they have a history with our products statewide, and are the perfect people to ensure the Kubota experience remains at such a high standard for the owners of our products in the northeast of Tasmania," Mr Findlay said.
Tasmac and Kubota have put together a range of great deals on the Kubota machinery to celebrate the launch of Tasmac Launceston.
The branch is located at 162 Invermay Road, Launceston and is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
