Police said investigations into the two shootings remained ongoing, with a clear line of inquiry, despite not charging anyone with a firearm related offence.
Yesterday afternoon, a search involving officers on the ground and in the air led police to arresting two men over the Kings Meadows shooting.
A 27-year-old Rocherlea man and a 34-year-old St Leonards' man remain in custody however they have not been charged with any offences.

A man was shot in the pelvis in his home in Guy Street in the early hours of Wednesday and the 44-year-old victim was taken to Launceston General Hospital, having suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The Normanstone Road incident involved a gun being fired into a home on Tuesday about 6.30pm. A man was inside at the time, but not physically injured.
Police believed the South Launceston shooting was the result of a dispute between neighbours and not related to Wednesday's shooting at Kings Meadows.
As part of investigations into the shootings, police also took five others into custody on Wednesday.
A 29-year-old man from West Launceston was arrested on warrant for failing to appear in court and later bailed.
A 29-year-old man from Prospect has been charged with drug driving and bailed.
A 28-year-old man from Kings Meadows has been charged with driving offences and bailed.
A 19-year-old Summerhill woman has been charged with drug offences and bailed.
A 19-year-old woman from Kings Meadows has been charged with drug offences, including selling a controlled drug, and bailed.
