Seven Tasmanian government vehicles were stolen from South Launceston in the early hours of Thursday morning, with two cars still unaccounted for.

The seven cars were stolen from the Department of Health site on Mulgrave Street, near the Launceston General Hospital, between 3.45am and 5.30am on March 5.
IN OTHER NEWS:
A police spokesperson said five vehicles had been recovered but two cars were still missing.
"Those vehicles are G60CS, [a] grey Subaru sedan and G91CG, a silver Subaru outback," they said.
"Investigations are continuing and no charges have been laid at this stage."
