In its 107th year the show continued to prove popular with young people who relished the rides, marvelled at all the animals on show and couldn't resist lining up for a showbag.
Exeter Show Society spokeswoman Hilary Keeley said she was blown away by the positive atmosphere and community spirit on display at the event, which had something on offer for everyone.

"We thought last year was our best year ever but I think year is our best because we've had a problem finding car parking spaces," she said.
"The local businesses and service groups are just so supportive. They're really pleased to have the show here."
Mrs Keeley praised volunteers who made the show possible.
"They put in, they help and they're here on the day," she said.
"Ours is a real family show. Once people are in there's an awful lot of free activities for children and that's important."
