The state champions will lead the Tasmanian team at the F1 in Schools final at the Robert Bosch Centre in Clayton.
The March 8th event is a competition for a team of five year 10 students nation wide and is run by Re-Engineering Australia.
IN OTHER NEWS
The competition requires students to design the fastest possible small-scale race car within technical constraints and pitch their cause to businesses to attract financial sponsorship and expertise.
The students have given up countless hours on weekends and during the holidays to plan and prepare for the challenge
Two other Tasmanian school's are heading along with Riverside High School and Queechy High School representing the state also.
If successful at the STEM event, the teams could be chosen to represent Australia at the world event.
