Snow fell on top of Ben Lomond, fully covering the ground and painting it white.
The Tasmanian Rover Ski Club posted a video of the snowfall to their Facebook page early this morning.

The Bureau of Meteorology had forecast snow above 1300 metres.
The rest of the north experienced rainfall and cold temperatures, as low as 10.7 degrees at 11am, during the morning.
By 11.30am Launceston had received 5.2mm of rain.
