The free annual concert attracts thousands to the park each year to hear the pleasant melodies of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
TSO marketing and communications director Samuel Cairnduff said the concert marks the start of the orchestra's season in Launceston, with a further six concerts planned in the Albert Hall and Princess Theatre across 2020.
"We look forward to presenting Symphony Under the Stars every year," he said.
"Saturday's audience can look forward to another experience, including some favourite classical repertoire as well as guest soloist, the prodigiously talented violinist Grace Clifford, who will perform with the full TSO under the baton of Maestro Johannes Fritzsch."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Avid concert goers were able to reserve tickets that had been returned, Mr Cairnduff said people had been very considerate in returning unneeded tickets.
"Our Box Office has been working extremely hard distributing returned tickets to those who missed out," he said.
"It's the second year of ticketing and we realised it's still a significant change to a longstanding event and that people who missed out on tickets were dissappointed.
"Ticketing the event enables us to provide the best possible audience experience for Symphony Under the Stars, and we've done our absolute best to accommodate everyone who wants to attend."
