Originally getting into the sport through her dad when Derby's trails opened up in 2015, the 17-year-old Launceston College student pursued it through her previous school, St Patrick's College, and the rest, they say, is history.
Taking out two rounds of the Enduro World Series under-21 competition including races in Rotorua and her home-town event in Derby, Harris then went intercontinental - finishing eighth in Whistler and Northstar, California.
"It was so good to ride some different trails other than Derby all the time, I guess you get sick of it riding it too much. It was a really good experience, I definitely want to go back after school," she said.
"[The tracks were] definitely a lot steeper and probably rougher. At Northstar, it was pretty rocky and dusty, like moon dust, knee deep."

Reflecting on her worldly journey, the rising junior, who also plays hockey for South Launceston Suns, is eager to return to local action in the Tasmanian Gravity Enduro on the weekend.
Describing the event as a "chill race", she will be joined by sisters Naomi, 15, and Cadele, 12, making the home-town Derby experience even more special.
Taking to the tracks as a family regularly, Naomi is slightly nervous for the weekend's races but says Fenella's experience has certainly made her a better rider.
"It's a good experience riding with her and learning new things," the 15-year-old said.
"I've learnt a lot off Fenella now which helps lots."
The youngest of the crew, Cadele, who is leading the under-15 women category alongside Chloe Jordan, splitting the podium in both rounds so far, loves taking to the track with her sisters.
"It's good because then I can follow all their tips," Cadele said.
"They are pretty helpful when I can't do something on the track."
Main-event racing will be raced on Saturday with the challenge events on the Sunday as rolling trail closures will impact riders from 9.30am on Saturday.
