A fire that occurred at a Geeveston accommodation facility and cafe overnight is being treated as suspicious by Tasmania Police.

The Tasmanian Fire Service was called to the facility 12.30am on February 20 - crews arrived to find both it and the neighbouring cafe alight.
In other news:
According to police, the building was saved, however damage to its contents was "extensive' with a damage total of about $80,000.
There were no injuries reported from the fire.
Police investigations into the fire are ongoing.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Kingston CIB on 131 444.
