The committee wants the toilets "in order to alleviate the issue of persons defecating in the parklands", according to the minutes of its most recent meeting.
In the agenda for its Monday meeting, it is recommended that the council consider the request that toilets at Honeysuckle Banks be included in its next budget.
Honeysuckle Banks is a rest area and off-leash dog area in Evandale that follows the South Esk River.
The issue was first raised with council on October 1. It was investigated by council officers from October 21, and it was recommended not to progress on November 18.
